Quantectum means Quantectum AG, with its registered office at Churerstrasse 80, 8808 Pfäffikon, Switzerland. This privacy policy explains how Quantectum uses the personal data collected from you when you use our website www.quantectum.com, when you cooperate with Quantectum and use Quantectum services, respectively.

What data do we collect?

Quantectum collects the following data:
•    Personal identification information (Name, address, e-mail address, phone number, etc.).

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Quantectum with all of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
•    register online for any of our products or services;
•    voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback via e-mail;
•    use or view our website via your browser's cookies.

On what legal basis and for what purposes are your data processed?

Your personal data will be processed with your consent or based on one of the other legal bases provided by GDPR.
Data processing within the scope of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 (a), 7 GDPR)

When you give us your consent for processing of your personal data, it will be processed exclusively for the purposes and to the extent agreed in the declaration of consent. We use your personal data to provide you with information about our services and products, or products and services of third parties and for communication with you. In doing so, we use the following communication channels, depending on the information you have provided us with: Phone, e-mail, SMS, post or social media.

You can also revoke any consent you have given us at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply write to our e-mail info@quantectum.com.  If you revoke such consent, this will have no effect on the fulfilment of our potential contractual obligations, but we will no longer use your data for the purposes indicated in the consent declaration.

Data processing for the fulfilment of contractual obligations (Art. 6 Para. 1 (b) GDPR)

We process company, contact, administrator and other contractual data for the provision, administration and invoicing of products and services purchased by you as well as for the fulfilment of (pre-)contractual obligations with you, our supplier or business partner. More information on the processing of personal data for the fulfilment of contractual obligations can be found in our Terms and Conditions. We process your data to inform by telephone, post, SMS or e-mail (depending on the information you have provided us with) about changes or any important information concerning your contract, for example an adjustment of the monthly fee, changes in the scope of services or temporary restrictions of our services (e.g. due to maintenance work).

Data processing for the fulfilment of legal obligations (Art. 6 para. 1 (c) GDPR)

The processing of personal data may be necessary for the purpose of fulfilling various legal obligations (e.g. data relevant to tax and duty legislation). Please note that we may be obliged to provide courts and administrative authorities with information about your personal data processed by us if there is a legal basis for doing so. In such case, we will inform you immediately about the transfer, unless we are obliged to keep this information confidential by law or by order of a court or administrative authority. We reject requests for information without an appropriate legal basis.

Data processing for purpose of legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR)

Data processing may be carried beyond the actual fulfilment of the contract for purpose of our legitimate interests or legitimate interest of a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, which require protection of personal data. A data processing for the protection of legitimate interests is carried out, for example for the protection of the company's assets as well as our employees and business partners.

Quantectum collects your data so that we can:
•    manage your account;
•    e-mail you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like;

How do we store your data?

Quantectum securely stores your data at company’s premises in Switzerland and Slovenia (Europe). Quantectum warrants that it maintains and shall continue to maintain appropriate and sufficient technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental, unlawful destruction or accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.

Quantectum will keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the personal data are processed. After that, we will delete your data. It is also possible that instead of deleting the data, it may be made anonymous. In this case, any personal reference will be irretrievably removed, meaning that the obligations to erasure of data under data protection law will no longer apply.

Marketing

Quantectum would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like.
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop Quantectum from contacting you for marketing purposes.

What are your data protection rights?

Quantectum would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR) - You can demand confirmation from us as to whether and to what extent we are processing your data. We will however not disclose details of our company and business secrets within the scope of our duty to provide information. In order to protect your data, it may be necessary to carry out an identity check, upon any request for information. 

The right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) - You have the right to request that Quantectum correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Quantectum to complete information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) - You have the right to request that Quantectum erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR) - You have the right to request that Quantectum restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) - You have the right to object to Quantectum's processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) - You have the right to request that Quantectum transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
